Signature Plant Kits

MNL’s Signature Plant Kits help take the guess work out of creating a native garden. Let our team of experts create a unique set of plants with a variety of bloom times and colors, perfect for your planting site. We adjust our plant species lists weekly to ensure we are sending only the highest quality plants, to maximize transplant success.

All of MNL’s signature plant kits come in trays of 36 plants. Six XL plant plugs of six different species. Each plant is grown in a large 2 x 2.25 inch wide by 3 inch deep plug. Shipments typically occur on Tuesday afternoon to avoid weekend transportation. We take extra care in our preparation and packaging to make sure your plants arrive in fantastic condition.

Shipping

Plant orders placed by end of day Sunday, or earlier, will ship Tuesday. Orders placed Monday, or later, will ship the following week Tuesday. Please include any special shipping date requests with your order.

**Fall 2025 Shipping Information Update: Our 2024 live plant shipping season has concluded. Plants ordered after October 6, 2024 will be will be placed in our off-season backlog and shipped spring of 2025. Shipping usually resumes early to mid-May, weather permitting. MNL will notify you before plants are shipped. Seed and non-plant orders will continue to ship throughout the winter.

Seed and non-plant orders are processed year-round and will typically ship within 5-7 business days.

We currently ship to the following areas where our local-origin, Minnesota native seed and plant products will thrive: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois and Eastern Nebraska.

MNL’s Statement on Neonicotinoids

We are committed to providing the highest quality restoration materials possible. We value the role our plants and seed have in the environment. To that end, we choose not to use Neonics and only use other chemicals only when necessary and/or as indicated by an integrated pest management program. This may result in plant leaves with minor feeding damage and/or the occasional monarch caterpillar found still chomping on your milkweed. Rest assured that these plants will be fine; the birds and butterflies will benefit.
