Common Rush
Juncus effusus. Found in ditches, swamps, marshes and shorelines. Useful for wetland restoration, raingardens, erosion control, water treatment and wildlife habitat. Drought and flood tolerant. Grows well in moist to wet soil conditions in full to partial sunlight. Height ranges from 1-4′. Green flowers bloom in Summer.
