Sweet Flag
Acorus americanus. This non-showy wildflower naturally occurs in MN wetlands. It would be a good addition to rain gardens, wet swales, and shoreline stabilization projects. Will attract a variety of waterfowl and aquatic mammals for food and habitat. Grows well in wet to moist soil conditions in full sunlight. Height ranging from 2-6′.
