Buckthorn Replacement Kit
If you’ve ever tried to eliminate established Buckthorn colonies, you know it can be quite a challenge. Buckthorn seeds left in the soil can germinate and grow long after the plants have been removed. The Buckthorn Replacement Kit is a collection of plants you can strategically use to help out-compete future buckthorn seedlings and reduce the chances of the infestation returning.
Consider planting in deep woods areas recently cleared of buckthorn plants.
Kit includes: 36 plants; six plants of six different species. Species included will vary based on current inventory and availability. If you prefer choosing specific species, check out our Design Your Own Garden to select from a variety of native plant options.
