Description

This Lawns to Legumes bundle is perfect for those L2L award recipients looking to establish a pollinator sanctuary in a shady back yard, along woodland edge, or anywhere with 25-75% shade cover.  An expertly designed combination of plants and seed with species that enjoy a mix of sun and shade. This bundle will cover up to 1,000 sq. ft. with seed mix spread over the entire planting area, and plants spaced about 36″ apart. Shipping

Plant orders placed by end of day Sunday, or earlier, will ship Tuesday. Orders placed Monday, or later, will ship the following week Tuesday. Please include any special shipping date requests with your order.

**Live Plant Retail Shipping Information Update: All Live Plants will be placed in our pre-order queue and shipped spring of 2025. Shipping usually resumes early to mid-May, weather permitting. MNL will notify you before plants are shipped. Seed and non-plant orders will continue to ship throughout the winter.

Seed and non-plant orders are processed year-round and will typically ship within 5-7 business days.

We currently ship to the following areas where our local-origin, Minnesota native seed and plant products will thrive: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois and Eastern Nebraska.

MNL’s Statement on Neonicotinoids

We are committed to providing the highest quality restoration materials possible. We value the role our plants and seed have in the environment. To that end, we choose not to use Neonics and only use other chemicals only when necessary and/or as indicated by an integrated pest management program. This may result in plant leaves with minor feeding damage and/or the occasional monarch caterpillar found still chomping on your milkweed. Rest assured that these plants will be fine; the birds and butterflies will benefit.
