Description

A low maintenance alternative to traditional turf lawn. This eco-friendly mix of Fine Fescues, Dutch White Clover, Yaak yarrow, and Self-Heal. This mix requires much less maintenance than a traditional lawn, and is a friendly option for pollinators! 

**Field Pussytoes Bundles Now Available!  Field Pussytoes – Antennaria neglecta makes a perfect addition to any Bee Lawn seeding project.  This low-growing ground cover species has woolly, soft, silvery-green leaves that are both visually attractive and soft under your feet. An early season bloomer for those eager spring pollinators, Field Pussytoes produces small white clusters of blossoms that resemble feline paws which lends to its unique name, Pussytoes.  Pussytoes are also an important host plant for the Painted Lady Butterfly.  Available in a 36 or 72 plug bundle, simply incorporate these plugs into the seeding area at time of sowing.

Shipping

Plant orders placed by end of day Sunday, or earlier, will ship Tuesday. Orders placed Monday, or later, will ship the following week Tuesday. Please include any special shipping date requests with your order.

**May 20, 2025 Live Plant Shipping Information Update: Live plant orders placed by May 21 will be scheduled to ship Tuesday, May 27. Orders placed May 22 or later, we plan to June 3. After Memorial Day, our goal is to resume a week-to-week shipping schedule = Orders placed by Sunday will ship the same Tuesday, and orders placed Monday or later shipping the following week, Tuesday. MNL will notify you before plants are shipped.

Seed and non-plant orders are processed year-round and will typically ship within 5-7 business days.

We currently ship to the following areas where our local-origin, Minnesota native seed and plant products will thrive: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois and Eastern Nebraska. Below is a map of counties and cities where we can ship too.

MNL’s Statement on Neonicotinoids

We are committed to providing the highest quality restoration materials possible. We value the role our plants and seed have in the environment. To that end, we choose not to use Neonics and only use other chemicals only when necessary and/or as indicated by an integrated pest management program. This may result in plant leaves with minor feeding damage and/or the occasional monarch caterpillar found still chomping on your milkweed. Rest assured that these plants will be fine; the birds and butterflies will benefit.
