Installation, excavation, and grading
Lakeshore and streambank restorations
Known as riparian restoration, our shoreline restoration services encompass a variety of interventions, from native buffer conversions to undertaking significant erosion repairs. Each service is specifically tailored to the unique characteristics of each site. A substantial aspect of our work involves addressing erosion and sedimentation in local bodies of water. We install structures in waterways to control flow, enhance oxygen levels, provide fish habitat, and reduce bank stress.
Wetland restorations
Our team, comprised of Certified Minnesota Wetland Professionals, ensures that all construction activities either have minimal impact or contribute to the future ecological condition of your site. Each year, we successfully execute several wetland restoration projects, encompassing activities such as site grading and scraping, tile breaking, plug removal, and seeding.
Rain garden and infiltration basins
We install, plant, and maintain various biofiltration and stormwater systems, ranging from box concepts to time-tested stormwater treatment Best Management Practices (BMPs). Our emphasis is on providing solutions tailored to your site’s specific needs.
Bioengineering and erosion control
All MNL construction superintendents are Certified Construction Site Managers. With expertise ranging from addressing on-site SWPPPs to installing large quantities of erosion control products, we ensure your project is completed effectively and in a timely manner. Additionally, we provide innovative solutions such as pre-vegetated prairie sod, bio-builders, live stakes, fascines, brush mattresses, and more to help you control erosion, regardless of site conditions.
Native seeding and planting
We specialize in transforming existing agricultural and marginally diverse lands into native vegetation, offering numerous benefits such as enhanced wildlife habitat, soil stabilization, and cleaner water. Our products department provides locally sourced native seeds and meticulously crafted seed mixes, including customizable options like native prairie sod, to meet your restoration and habitat goals.
