Description

Debuting at the 2026 Minnesota State Fair, the “Steward of the Prairie” Tee pays homage to the American Bison (Bison bison), the original steward of the Great Plains prairies.  Set on a navy background, the back of this shirt shows off the iconic silhouette of the American Bison. Look closer, and you’ll find its shaggy mane and beard are actually the prairie grasses this powerful beast has protected and maintained for millennia.    

Available in traditional Unisex sizes S–XXL, printed on oatmeal colored 100% preshrunk cotton.

Shipping

Live-plant orders ship each Tuesday. Order placed by Sunday will ship Tuesday, orders placed Monday or later will ship the following week.

Seed and non-plant orders are processed year-round and will typically ship within 5-7 business days.

We currently ship to the following areas where our local-origin, Minnesota native seed and plant products will thrive: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois and Eastern Nebraska. Below is a map of counties and cities where we can ship to.

MNL’s Statement on Neonicotinoids

We are committed to providing the highest quality restoration materials possible. We value the role our plants and seed have in the environment. To that end, we choose not to use Neonics and only use other chemicals only when necessary and/or as indicated by an integrated pest management program. This may result in plant leaves with minor feeding damage and/or the occasional monarch caterpillar found still chomping on your milkweed. Rest assured that these plants will be fine; the birds and butterflies will benefit.
