Showy Tick Trefoil

Desmodium canadense. Showy Tick Trefoil prefers mesic to wet soils, with full sun. This plant will grow medium to tall in height and have pink-purple spiked flower heads with a summer bloom. Showy Tick Trefoil pairs well with Big Bluestem, Common Milkweed, Common Ox-Eye, and Wild Bergamot.
