Rusty Patched Bumble Bee Garden – Full Sun
MNL has worked with the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources and the Lawns to Legumes program to design pollinator gardens to help create habitat for the endangered Rusty Patched Bumble Bee. Our Rusty Patched Bumble Bee Gardens are available in Full Sun, Part Shade, and Rain Garden varieties.
This garden is for creating a pollinator garden within a yard and is a perfect fit for the Native Pocket Plantings in the Lawns to Legumes program. Consider planting in areas with mesic soil in areas with large amounts of direct sunlight. We designed this collection to have flowering species in all of the bloom seasons and to contain flowers that are of high priority and “superfoods” for the Rusty Patched Bumble Bee. If you prefer choosing specific species, check out our Design Your Own Garden to select from a variety of native plant options.
Rusty Patched Bumble Bee Gardens come with 36 plugs, six plants of six different species.
