Description

Jacob’s Ladder

Polemonium reptans. Jacob’s ladder is a delicate, perennial typically found in woodlands and shaded areas. Has graceful, ladder-like leaves made up of small, oval leaflets. In spring, it produces clusters of soft blue to purple, bell-shaped flowers that attract pollinators like bees. Jacob’s Ladder prefers partial to full shade and moist, well-drained soils. It’s an ideal plant for woodland gardens, adding a lovely touch of color, attractive low-growing foliage, and texture to shady areas.  Grows 1-2′ in height.

Shipping

Live-plant orders ship each Tuesday. Order placed by Sunday will ship Tuesday, orders placed Monday or later will ship the following week.

Seed and non-plant orders are processed year-round and will typically ship within 5-7 business days.

We are committed to providing the highest quality restoration materials possible. We value the role our plants and seed have in the environment. To that end, we choose not to use Neonics and only use other chemicals only when necessary and/or as indicated by an integrated pest management program. This may result in plant leaves with minor feeding damage and/or the occasional monarch caterpillar found still chomping on your milkweed. Rest assured that these plants will be fine; the birds and butterflies will benefit.
